CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS THE AREA SOUTHEAST OF A FREEPORT
ILLINOIS TO OTTUMWA IOWA LINE OUTLOOKED IN A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...MAINLY THIS
AFTERNOON WITH A PASSING COLD FRONT. CURRENT INDICATIONS SUPPORT SOME
STORMS MAY BECOME STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS OVER 40 MPH AND HAIL UP
TO THE SIZE OF PENNIES THE MAIN THREATS. THERE IS A LOW RISK...IF THERE
IS ENOUGH HEATING...FOR ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT COULD PRODUCE
WINDS UP TO 60 MPH AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS.
