ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA
FOR THIS EVENING INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO AT TIMES
HEAVY SNOWFALL IS LIKELY OVER EASTERN IOWA...NORTHWEST/WEST-CENTRAL
ILLINOIS AND FAR NORTHEAST MISSOURI WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW
ACCUMULATION BY DAYBREAK.

PRECIPITATION THAT DEVELOPS THIS AFTERNOON WILL EITHER BE RAIN OR A
RAIN/SNOW MIX. A TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW IS FORECAST TO OCCUR DURING
THE LATE AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING BUT THIS MAY OCCUR SEVERAL HOURS
LATER OVER SOUTHEAST IOWA...WEST-CENTRAL ILLINOIS...AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

COMPLETE INFORMATION ON THIS IMPENDING WINTER STORM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SUNDAY...SNOW WILL CONTINUE WITH SEVERAL MORE INCHES OF ACCUMULATION.
NORTHERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL RESULT
IN CONSIDERABLE DRIFTING OF SNOW AND SOME BLOWING OF SNOW IN OPEN AND
RURAL LOCATIONS.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NECESSARY TODAY AND TONIGHT.  ANY
REPORTS OF SNOW AMOUNTS OVER 1 INCH AND POOR ROAD CONDITIONS WOULD
