ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS WITH A MIXTURE OF SLEET...FREEZING RAIN AND
POSSIBLY SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING AND AGAIN TONIGHT
MAINLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM FAIRFIELD TO MONMOUTH. LITTLE TO NO
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

AN ICE JAM ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER IS PRODUCING MINOR TO
MODERATE FLOODING FROM NEAR BURLINGTON UPSTREAM TO NEAR
GLADSTONE. THE ROCK RIVER NEAR JOSLIN ILLINOIS IS ALSO
EXPERIENCING MINOR FLOODING FROM ICE ACTION. THOSE WITH
INTERESTS NEAR AREA RIVERS SHOULD KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THEM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE AREA
FROM SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. AT THIS TIME...A MIXTURE OF
FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...AND LIGHT SNOW IN MISSOURI...IS EXPECTED
TO SLOWLY MOVE NORTH SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT, REACHING
LOCATIONS NORTH OF HIGHWAY 34...SUNDAY EVENING. ICE ACCUMULATIONS
OF ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH ARE POSSIBLE...WITH THE HIGHER TOTALS
MOST LIKELY IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI. DURING THE MORNING HOURS
MONDAY, WARM AIR WILL CHANGE ALL FREEZING RAIN OVER TO RAIN...AND
MELT ANY ICE ACCUMULATION.
