of severe thunderstorms south of a Woodhull, Illinois to
Washington, Iowa to Ottumwa line. Scattered thunderstorms should
develop this afternoon ahead of a slow moving weak cold front.

is low that severe weather will occur in the outlook area.

afternoon across southeast Iowa, western Illinois and extreme
northeast Missouri.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night through Saturday. Some of
these storms may be strong or severe, but it is too soon to
determine more specific details. Heavy rainfall will also be
possible with storms throughout this period.

Hot and humid conditions are expected Tuesday through Friday. High
temperatures may reach the 90s with heat index values possibly
reaching 100 to 105 during the afternoon hours of Wednesday and
Thursday.
