This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Although the wintry mix of precipitation will wind down and move
out of the area by early evening, slick surfaces and icy roads
will linger well into tonight. Brisk northwest winds will also
continue to gust up to 35 MPH, and may produce some lower end
drifting of snow across roads in areas that got at least and inch
of snow. Thus the Winter Weather Advisory continues for hazardous
travel across the entire Outlook Area through Midnight.

Wind chills will drop to 10 below, to near 20 below zero west of
a Dubuque to Mount Pleasant Iowa line after Midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Bitter cold wind chills of 10 below, to near 20 below zero will
occur west of the Mississippi River through mid Friday morning.

Snow is expected Sunday afternoon and night, with enough
accumulation that hazardous travel is likely. In addition,
bitterly cold air Sunday night through Monday night will arrive
with strong winds, which will bring wind chills down below 20
below zero and could also cause significant drifting of snow by
Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
