THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW IS FORECAST THIS EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE
BEST CHANCE FOR ALL SNOW WILL BE NEAR AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 20
WHERE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION IS LIKELY WITH THE HIGHER
AMOUNTS EXPECTED TO BE CLOSE TO THE WISCONSIN BORDER.

BETWEEN I-80 AND HIGHWAY 30...UP TO AN INCH IS POSSIBLE WITH NEAR
A HALF INCH IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THIS ZONE WHERE RAIN IS
MORE LIKELY TO MIX IN AND LESS PRECIPITATION IS FORECAST. SOUTH OF
I-80...LESS THAN A HALF INCH OF SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION IS
ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THE TAIL END OF THE CLIPPER WILL BE LEAVING THE AREA WEDNESDAY.
SNOWFALL UP TO HALF AN INCH IS POSSIBLE NORTH. MOST SNOW WILL
FALL NORTH OF I-80.

SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO
HIT THE AREA. AT THIS TIME THERE ARE TOO MANY UNKNOWNS TO SAY FOR
SURE IF IT WILL BE AN ALL SNOW...OR A RAIN/SNOW EVENT. FUTURE
FORECASTS SHOULD HAVE A BETTER IDEA OF THIS WEEKEND SYSTEM.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TONIGHT. HOWEVER...REPORTS
OF SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF AN INCH OR GREATER WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
