THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA WITH HEAT
INDEX READINGS CLIMBING INTO THE 105 TO 110 DEGREE RANGE THIS
AFTERNOON.

AFTER THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
DIMINISH THIS MORNING...THERE IS A CHANCE OF MORE THUNDERSTORMS
LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND ESPECIALLY TONIGHT. A FEW OF THE STORMS
MAY BE SEVERE WITH STRONG WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH THE MAIN
THREAT. HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...AND STORMS THAT IMPACT
AREAS RECENTLY HIT BY HEAVY RAIN WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY. HEAT INDEX
READINGS OF 105 TO 110 ARE EXPECTED AND AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING
IS IN EFFECT INTO EARLY SATURDAY EVENING.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY...SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY OVER MOST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. THESE STORMS WILL HAVE THE
POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH MAY LEAD TO FLASH
FLOODING IN AREAS SATURATED FROM HEAVY RAINS OVER THE PAST SEVERAL
DAYS. THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE AGAIN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. IT IS TOO
SOON TO DETERMINE THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE WEATHER.
