This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Some severe thunderstorms are possible tonight west of the
Mississippi River. The main risks are damaging wind gusts around
60 mph, large hail, and isolated flash flooding. Confidence is low
on the placement of the heaviest rain. Severe storms are most
favored after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Thunderstorms are likely Monday through Monday night and some of
these storms may be severe. The main severe weather threat is
damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, with a lower potential for hail
up to the size of quarters. The strongest storms are expected
from late afternoon through midnight. The Storm Prediction center
has a placed a slight risk over the entire outlook area.

Heavy rainfall is possible, especially north of Highway 30 Monday
night. Rainfall amounts well over 1 inch in a short amount of
time could lead to localized flooding.

Tuesday, isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible in the
morning.
