Subject: Minor, Moderate, and Major Flood Stage Changes at Anamosa (ANSI4)
         Effective August 8, 2016.

Effective August 8, 2016, the National Weather Service Quad Cities
IA/IL (WFO DVN) will change the flood stages on the Wapsipinicon
River at Anamosa Shaw Road (ANSI4). After discussion with local emergency
management, updated stages will be as follows:

    Flood Stage: 14.5 ft
    Moderate Flood Stage: 18.0 ft
    Major Flood Stage: 21.5 ft

Record Stage at this location is 26.18 ft which occurred June 13, 2008.

Flood stage: 14.5 ft. Lou Lou`s Landing Campground is impacted and
Lead Mine Road is overtopped and closed.

Moderate Flood Stage: 18.0 ft. Multiple road closures impact travel.
Road closures include Jungle Town Road, Buffalo Road, and 42nd Street
in Olin. At this point, Buffalo Creek and Walnut Creek back up
causing impacts in the vicinity.

Major Flood Stage: 21.5 ft. County Road X64 is closed causing major
traffic issues.

The impacts at these levels will be more in line with what is
expected with minor, moderate, and major flooding.
