EFFECTIVE: JUNE 2017

NOTE: The following changes have no inpact on NOAA Weather Wire
service subscribers.

The last upper air sounding conducted with the Radiosonde
Replacement System (RRS) at Weather Forecast Office Quad Cities
Davenport, IA (DVN) will be 00Z on Wednesday June 28, 2017. The
following sounding at 12Z will be conducted utilizing the
Transitional Radiosonde Observing System (TROS).

The header for Davenport, IA (station ID 74455) will not change
with the introduction of TROS. The official header of the
Davenport office will be used for transmission of official
products.
