...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 04/15/17 TORNADO EVENT...

OVERVIEW...Several severe thunderstorms developed across eastern Iowa
during the evening of April 15th. While hail and heavy rainfall were primarily
produced, one storm produced a weak tornado across western Jones County.

Additional information may be added to the bottom of this statement as it
becomes availible.

MILES TO THE EAST BEFORE LIFTING...WITH DAMAGE TO TREES
AND OUTBUILDINGS ALONG THE PATH.

FOLLOWING CATEGORIES BASED ON THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE.
