A mix of clouds and filtered sunshine was seen across the region
Friday evening, as a broad area of high pressure moved into the
north central Great Plains. High temperatures were below normal
due to breezy, cool northerly winds, and ranged from 55 in Keokuk
and Freeport, to 61 in Fort Madison and Vinton.

Skies will gradually clear overnight, leaving the region with
mainly sunny skies and near normal temperatures for the day
Saturday. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the upper 30s
and lower 40s. High temperatures for Saturday will climb into the
lower and middle 60s.
