WHILE A COLD FRONT DROPPED SOUTHWARD THROUGH IOWA AND NORTHERN
ILLINOIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON. ACCOMPANYING THE FRONT WAS BLUSTERY
WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS. HIGH TEMPERATURES TUESDAY RANGED FROM 34 DEGREES
AT FREEPORT ILLINOIS TO 40 DEGREES AT VINTON IOWA.

FOR TUESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING...WINDS WILL TURN TO
THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST AND DECREASE. EXPECT MOSTLY CLEAR
SKIES...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 6 DEGREES AT FREEPORT
AND DUBUQUE...TO 15 DEGREES AT MEMPHIS MISSOURI AND FORT MADISON
IOWA.

A CLIPPER TYPE WINTER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO
THE AREA WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS ARE
EXPECTED OVER CENTRAL IOWA...INTO SOUTHEAST IOWA...NORTHEAST
MISSOURI...AND PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS. CEDAR
RAPIDS...IOWA CITY...AND THE QUAD CITIES COULD SEE 2 TO 4 INCHES.
DUBUQUE COULD SEE 1 TO 2 INCHES. SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI COULD SEE 4 TO 6 INCHES. HIGHS WEDNESDAY WILL RANGE FROM
16 DEGREES AT DUBUQUE IOWA...TO 27 DEGREES AT MEMPHIS MISSOURI.
