...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE CONTINUE THIS MORNING...

.AREAS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 30 AND INTO NORTHWESTERN ILLINOIS. ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL
GENERALLY BE LIGHT...BUT WILL STILL BE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE A LIGHT
GLAZE OF ICE ON ANY UNTREATED ROADS...DRIVEWAYS...PARKING LOTS AND
SIDEWALKS. DESPITE TEMPERATURES AT OR ABOVE 32 DEGREES...THE
FROZEN GROUND WILL STILL CAUSE THE RAIN TO FREEZE UPON CONTACT.
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO RISE WELL INTO THE 30S TO LOWER 40S
THROUGH DAYBREAK...WITH ANY ICE ACCUMULATIONS MELTING BY MID MORNING.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
  EARLY THIS MORNING. ICING CONDITIONS WILL GRADUALLY END FROM
  SOUTH TO NORTH BY 6 AM CST.

* STORM TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH
  OF ICE ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

* IMPACTS...FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL MAKE UNTREATED
  ROADWAYS... DRIVEWAYS...PARKING LOTS AND SIDEWALKS SLICK.
  BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES WILL ALSO BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO SLICK SPOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES.  BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS.  SLOW DOWN AND BE CAREFUL WHILE TRAVELING.
