...WINTER STORM TO AFFECT PARTS OF EASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWEST
ILLINOIS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...

.A WINTER STORM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE PLAINS AND LIFT
NORTHEAST THROUGH THE REGION EARLY THIS WEEK. HEAVY SNOW IS
FORECAST TO SPREAD ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA INTO PORTIONS OF EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY
NIGHT. STRONG WINDS MAY CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND
REDUCED VISIBILITIES TUESDAY. IN ADDITION...A WINTRY MIX OF SLEET
AND SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES.

IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 8 INCHES. ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS IN
  FAR NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE WARNING

* TEMPERATURES...AROUND 30.

* WIND...NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO HEAVY SNOW AND
  PERIODS OF SLEET...AS WELL AS BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
