ILLINOIS TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.A SIGNIFICANT STORM SYSTEM IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL MOVE
NORTHEAST ACROSS EASTERN IOWA THROUGH TONIGHT...SPREADING SNOW...
SLEET RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA. ACCUMULATING SNOW
AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING...THEN TAPER OFF LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ADDITIONAL LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED NORTH OF
THE HIGHWAY 30 CORRIDOR LATER TONIGHT...ALONG WITH A STRONG
NORTHWEST WIND AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THE SNOW AND SLEET THIS
MORNING WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG EAST WINDS WHICH WILL RESULT
IN AREAS OF POOR VISIBILITY AND SLICK ROADS.
