This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
The combination of gusty northwest winds to near 30 MPH and
minimum relative humidity values below 30 percent will result in
several hours of elevated to near critical fire weather concerns
across the area today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Critical fire weather conditions are possible across the entire
forecast area on Thursday and a fire weather watch remains in
effect for the entire outlook area. Please see the latest fire
weather watch statement for additional details. Additional fire
weather concerns are possible each afternoon Friday through
Sunday.
A chance for thunderstorms returns to the forecast Monday
afternoon and continues into Tuesday. While details are still
uncertain at this time, there are early indications that a severe
thunderstorm threat will be likely Monday afternoon and evening.

as details become more clear.
