...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SAN
JACINTO...NORTHWESTERN LIBERTY...SOUTHWESTERN POLK AND SOUTHEASTERN
WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 947 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Coldspring, or 14 miles northwest of Cleveland,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Willis, Shepherd, Splendora, Cut And Shoot, New Waverly,
Coldspring, Goodrich, North Cleveland, Lake Livingston State Park,
Oakhurst, and Evergreen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southeastern Texas.
