* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...

* Until 1030 AM EDT.

* At 958 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Lockwood
  Folly Inlet Sea Buoy, moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sheepshead Rock, Yaupon Beach, Lockwood Folly Inlet Sea Buoy, Cape
  Fear Sea Buoy, Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island, and Oak Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.
