...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ST. JOHNS...NORTH
CENTRAL PUTNAM AND EAST CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 845 AM EDT...

At 810 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Picolata, or 10 miles north of Hastings, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Saint Augustine, World Golf Village, South Ponte Vedra, Vilano Beach,
Picolata, Guana River State Park, Bakersville, and South Ponte Vedra
Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
