...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MCCREARY AND
SOUTHERN WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Zion Hill, or 10 miles east of Oneida, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dixie, Siler, Ayers, Gatliff, Packard, Zion Hill, Wilkerson, Red Ash,
Lot, Pearl, Pleasant View, Saxton, Goins, Strunk, Hollyhill, Polly
Camp, Mountain Ash, Nevisdale, and Pine Knot.

THIS INCLUDES Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile
markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
