5 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 18
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 5 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Accumulation will be highly elevation
  dependent with considerably higher amounts above 8000 feet.
