...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT /1230 AM EDT/ THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kentucky, including
  the following counties, in central Kentucky, Boyle, Casey,
  Garrard, Lincoln, Marion and Taylor. In south central Kentucky,
  Adair and Russell.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM CDT /1230 AM EDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Some low-water crossings
  may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 619 PM CDT /719 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Liberty, Danville, Stanford, Lancaster, Junction City, Crab
    Orchard, Hustonville, Bradfordsville, Middleburg and
    Lanhamtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
