Through 9 PM, an area of steady rain with thunderstorms at times
will continue to affect much of the far southern Texas Panhandle
and adjacent areas of the South Plains and Rolling Plains. Hourly
rainfall rates up to 1/4 inch can be expected with the steadier
rain, with over 1/2 inch per hour from heavier downpours with some
of the thunderstorms.
