...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 5 PM EDT
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due
  to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 8 AM EDT Friday,
  especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood
  Warning, from 8 AM to 5 PM EDT Friday, especially around the
  time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...The unprotected area on the Southwest Waterfront at
  the DC Seafood Market is expected to flood. Water is expected to
  approach parts of the Hains Point Loop Road, but it will likely
  be closed. Water is expected to approach buildings near King
  Street and Union Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 11:21 PM
  and 11:30 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due
  to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Southeast Harford County.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 9 AM EDT Friday,
  especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood
  Warning, from 9 AM to 6 PM EDT Friday, especially around the
  time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, the marina office at the Havre de Grace
  Yacht Basin is flooded, along with the surrounding area.
  Hutchins Park is flooded, as is the parking lot at Roberts
  Park. The dock at Pier Number 1 is also covered by water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides up to 4 feet above normal. The next
  high tide at Havre de Grace is at 1:05 AM and 1:09 PM.

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Friday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches the floor of the Maritime
  Museum in Annapolis, begins to cover Bowyer Road on the Naval
  Academy campus, and numerous businesses on Dock Street are
  flooded, along with the City Dock parking lot. Bayside Beach
  begins to flood around Harbor Rd and Lake Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at
  9:00 AM and 8:56 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Friday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George
  Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the
  east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St.
  Mary`s River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 6:12 AM and
  6:58 PM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 4:49 AM and
  5:05 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 5:36 AM and
  6:22 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the City of Alexandria and Arlington
  County.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM EDT Friday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...Water is expected to approach the curb near the
  intersection of King Street and Strand Street in Alexandria.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Alexandria is at 11:39 PM and
  11:48 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of

FRIDAY...

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the City of
  Baltimore.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Friday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 4.25 feet, the concrete promenade at Fells Point
  begins to flood. Water also begins to cover the boardwalk at
  the Maritime Park water taxi stop. Thames Street is flooded,
  and much of the promenade in the Inner Harbor is flooded. At
  3.0 feet, water begins encroaching upon yards in the Bowleys
  Quarters area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides up to 3 feet above normal. The next
  high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at 10:17 AM and 10:33 PM.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Calvert County.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Friday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, water is expected to reach backyards
  near 9th Street in North Beach, and could approach 9th Street.
  At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and
  Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the
  streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 7:30 AM and
  7:46 PM. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 5:39 AM and
  5:55 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  normal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 6:20 AM and 6:51
  PM. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 11:07 PM and 11:16
  AM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 7:22 AM and 8:08 PM.

* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, minor shoreline flooding begins near
  Chesapeake City. At 4.5 feet, minor shoreline flooding begins
  near Charlestown.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides up to 3 feet above normal. The next
  high tide at Chesapeake City is at 1:50 AM and 2:13 PM. The next
  high tide at Charlestown is at 1:33 AM and 2:09 PM. The next
  high tide at Port Deposit is at 1:05 AM and 1:41 PM.
