  S of Oregon Inlet NC to Cape Hatteras NC out to 20 nm...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 447 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near The Vicinity
  Of Frying Pan, or 12 nm south of The Mouth Of The Alligator River,
  moving east at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
           winds and hail. Small craft could capsize in suddenly
           higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Nags Head, The Vicinity Of Mashoes, The Center Of Roanoke Sound,
  The Center Of Croatan Sound, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge,
  Rodanthe, and Kill Devil Hills.
