.DISCUSSION...
Good morning. High pressure will remain over the local area today and
Wednesday, with a drier airmass remaining in place over the region.
Mostly sunny skies will persist through mid-week with temperatures
forecast to be slightly above normal for this time of year. Minimum RH
values near 30 percent this afternoon, and around 35 percent Wednesday.
Light winds will become east to southeast by late morning, increasing
to 8-13 KT with gusts up to 20 KT possible each day, which will produce
sensitive fire weather conditions. These gusty winds will also cause control
issues at new and existing burns. Rain chances remain out of the forecast through
midweek. Smoke dispersion values will be good to very good today and Wednesday.
