.DISCUSSION...Sunny skies will prevail today, and with high pressure
slipping east of the area, light south to southwest winds are
expected, generally at around 6 mph with little to no gustiness.
Late in the day, 4 to 5 PM, the lake breeze off of Lake Huron should
arrive, bringing a wind shift to the southeast. This southeast wind
could gust to 10 to 15 mph. Due to the very close proximity of the
burn site to Lake Michigan, it is expected that lake modified air
will hold the max temperature to around 46 today, and it will also
keep minimum RH higher at around 42 percent. RH will drop sharply to
25 to 30 percent a little farther inland. Southeast to east winds
will prevail tonight with RH recovery to around 76 percent. Easterly
winds will become gusty to 15 to 20 mph on Friday with minimum RH at
30 to 35 percent. Showers will arrive Friday night.
