west-northwest gusts of at least 20 mph, with speeds increasing
near 25 mph after 1300-1400 PDT. Periodic gusts from the northwest
are expected as well. Northwest winds will remain elevated
tonight as a cold front pushes through. Snow levels will fall near
5,000 feet through Friday afternoon, with convective showers
leading to a mix of rain and snow. Wetting precipitation will be
spotty in nature, with probabilities at 20 percent. Gusty winds
continue on Friday.
