...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Carbon and northern
Monroe Counties through 715 PM EDT...

At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Angels to Stoddartsville to Drifton. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Jim Thorpe, Weatherly, Henryville, Pocono
Pines, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville,
Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain, Long Pond, Albrightsville, Sun Valley,
Arrowhead Lake, Jonas, Meckesville, Beltzville State Park, and
McMichael.

This includes the following highways...
 Northeast Extension between mile markers 78 and 97.
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 277 and 303.
 Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
