...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SCOTLAND AND SOUTH CENTRAL HOKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 543 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Laurinburg, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Laurinburg, Maxton, Wagram, Gibson, East Laurinburg, and Laurel Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
