...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL MOORE COUNTY...

At 455 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest of
Pinehurst, or 11 miles southwest of Carthage, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines, Foxfire,
Taylortown, Seven Lakes, and Eagle Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
