The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Dent County in south central Missouri...
  Northeastern Phelps County in east central Missouri...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 442 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near St. James, or
  10 miles east of Rolla, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Rolla, St. James, Bangert, Northwye, Lecoma, Sligo, Lake Spring,
  and Rosati.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 181 and 183, and
between mile markers 188 and 200.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for south central
and east central Missouri. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect
until midnight CDT for south central and east central Missouri.
