...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AST EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following county,
  Manati.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
  earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
  may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1228 AM AST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to Rio
    Grande de Manati out of the banks. Flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the warned area.

    Manati.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
