High pressure will begin to move east of the region this evening
through the overnight hours as a warm front moves through the area
early on Thursday. This will allow for an increase in shower and
thunderstorm activity in the area during the day on Thursday. As a
cold front approaches Thursday evening into the overnight hours,
additional storm activity is expected. The area of low pressure
may linger in the Ohio Valley on Friday, with a few showers
possible during the day. However, drier conditions will return for
the weekend as high pressure settles into the region.
