.OVERVIEW...LARGE TRADE-WIND WAVES AND SWELL WILL GENERATE HAZARDOUS
SURF ACROSS THE MARSHALL ISLANDS AS WELL AS KOSRAE AND POHNPEI
STATES. EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH TIDES COMBINED WITH THE LARGE SWELL AND
WIND WAVES WILL CAUSE COASTAL INUNDATION AT MAJURO THROUGH TUESDAY
DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE.

SURF COULD FALL BELOW ADVISORY LEVELS EARLY TUESDAY.

AVOID VENTURING NEAR EXPOSED REEFS AND BEACHES...ESPECIALLY THOSE
FACING EAST...AS RIP CURRENTS WILL BE LIFE THREATENING.

BETWEEN 8 TO 10 FEET TUESDAY...BUT WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS FOR AT LEAST
THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

FACING NORTH AND EAST...AS RIP CURRENTS WILL BE LIFE THREATENING.

HAZARDOUS SURF HEIGHTS OF 11 TO 14 WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY. SURF
IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SUBSIDING TUESDAY AND MAY FALL BELOW HAZARDOUS
LEVELS BY WEDNESDAY.

THE COMBINATION OF LARGE SURF AND HIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES IS EXPECTED
TO CAUSE COASTAL INUNDATION OF 1 TO 2 FEET DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE
OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE NEXT HIGH TIDES ARE: 4.15 FEET AT 408 AM
EARLY MONDAY MORNING AND 5.28 FEET AT 420 PM MONDAY AFTERNOON.
PROTECT PROPERTY AGAINST THE INUNDATION THREAT.
