REMARKS...

NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION OCCURRED IN
APRIL FOR THE GRAND FORKS UNIVERSITY (NWS). THE MONTHLY AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE WAS 43.1 DEGREES OR 0.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. NO DAILY
RECORD TEMPERATURES OCCURRED IN APRIL.

PRECIPITATION FOR APRIL TOTALED 1.48 INCHES WHICH IS 0.50 INCHES
ABOVE NORMAL. NO DAILY PRECIPITATION RECORD OCCURRED.

TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR APRIL WAS 6.7 INCHES. A DAILY RECORD SNOWFALL OF
6.2 INCHES ON APRIL 26. THE OLD RECORD WAS 2.3 INCHES SET IN 1966.
ANOTHER DAILY RECORD SNOWFALL OCCURRED APRIL 23 WITH 0.4 INCHES. THE
OLD RECORD WAS 0.1 INCHES WHICH FELL IN 1936.
