THE WINTER OF 2015-2016 AT PINE BLUFF WAS ONE OF THE WARMEST IN
YEARS. TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S IN MID DECEMBER...LATE JANUARY AND
MID AND LATE FEBRUARY ASSURED THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 1975-1976. THE
AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2011-2012. THE AVERAGE
SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 1991-1992.

THERE WERE 34 DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING...WHICH
WAS THE FEWEST IN THREE YEARS /SINCE 2012-2013/.

.RAINFALL...
RAINFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE THIRD WINTER IN A ROW...HOWEVER
IT WAS THE WETTEST WINTER SINCE 2013-2014.

.SNOWFALL...
WINTER OF 2015-2016 SAW THE LEAST AMOUNT OF SNOW SINCE 2012-2013.
HOWEVER...SNOWFALL WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE...THANKS TO THE SNOW
STORM JANUARY 21ST-22ND...WHEN 3.6 INCHES OF SNOW FELL. THERE WERE
THREE DAYS WITH SNOWFALL...WHICH WAS BELOW THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE OF
FIVE.
