GENERALIZED STATEWIDE COASTAL WATERS FORECAST FOR HAWAII
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HONOLULU HI
1012 AM HST FRI DEC 2 2016

.SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS...
A DEVELOPING SURFACE TROUGH WEST OF THE ISLANDS WILL CAUSE THE
GUSTY TRADES TO WEAKEN AND SHIFT TO SOUTHEASTERLIES. WINDWARD
WATERS WILL BE THE LAST TO SEE WEAKER WINDS...AS THE TROUGH SHIFTS
EASTWARD OVER THE ISLANDS THIS WEEKEND. A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCES PASSING NEAR THE STATE WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF HEAVY
SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS. CAUTION IS ADVISED DUE TO
STRONG...GUSTY...ERRATIC WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS.
