...VERY WET SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT FOR THE SOUTHERN AND
CENTRAL PANHANDLE...

A FRONT WILL STALL OVER THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL PANHANDLE
BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND AND PERSIST OVER THE AREA THROUGH MONDAY
NIGHT...POSSIBLY INTO TUESDAY. STRETCHING FROM THE PANHANDLE WELL
SOUTHWEST INTO THE SUBTROPICAL PACIFIC...THE FRONT WILL SPREAD
WARM AND VERY MOIST AIR NORTHWARD...PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY
RAIN FOR THE REGION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF HEAVY SNOW FOR HYDER.
RAIN AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE FORECASTED FOR THE SOUTHERN
INNER CHANNELS AND MISTY FJORDS REGION WITH WESTERN PRINCE OF
WALES ISLAND AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL INNER CHANNELS
RECEIVING 2 TO 4 INCHES. IN ADDITION...SNOW LEVELS WILL RISE TO
BETWEEN 4000 AND 6000 FEET OVER MUCH OF THE REGION BY MONDAY.
LOCAL RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL RISE SIGNIFICANTLY AND QUICKLY
DURING THIS EVENT...BUT AT THIS TIME FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED.
