...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for the east slopes of the Berkshires and
Litchfield hills as well as the Connecticut river valley.

* From Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning

* Periods of moderate to heavy rain with the potential for
embedded thunderstorms will move over western Massachusetts and
Connecticut late tomorrow into tomorrow night. High rainfall
rates, combined with a prolonged period of moderate to heavy
rain could lead to localized flash flooding at some of the
faster responding streams and rivers. Some localized urban
  flooding is also possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
