THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL KANSAS...CHASE. IN
  SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...BUTLER...COWLEY...SEDGWICK AND SUMNER.

* UNTIL 1 AM CDT MONDAY.

* ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS
  SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS THIS EVENING. GIVEN SATURATED GROUNDS...
  ANOTHER 0.25 TO 0.50 OF RAINFALL WILL AGGRAVATE EXISTING
  FLOODING OR RESULT IN RENEWED FLOODING IN THE WATCH AREA. MINOR
  TO MODERATE FLOODING IS ALSO FORECAST ON SEVERAL RIVERS ACROSS
  THE AREA.

* THOSE WITH OUTDOOR PLANS ESPECIALLY ALONG CREEKS AND RIVERS
  NEED TO MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION CLOSELY.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...ALLEN...CHAUTAUQUA...ELK...GREENWOOD...LABETTE...
  MONTGOMERY...NEOSHO...WILSON AND WOODSON.

* THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT.
  RAIN MAY BE MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES. WITH GROUNDS ALREADY
  SATURATED...ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL GO INTO RUNOFF AND WILL
  LIKELY RESULT IN FLOODING. MINOR AND MODERATE RIVER FLOODING IS
  ALREADY FORECAST FOR SOME OF THE RIVERS IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
