SUNDAY EVENING...

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF WEST-CENTRAL ARIZONA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREA...
  IN WEST-CENTRAL ARIZONA...WEST CENTRAL DESERTS.

* FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* NEARLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED IN THE AREA OF THE HARCUVAR
  MOUNTAINS...AND EVEN HIGHER AMOUNTS OVER THE MOUNTAIN TERRAIN NORTH
  AND NORTHEAST OF WENDEN.

* THE RAINFALL AND RUNOFF WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD TO HEIGHTENED FLOWS
  OF UNKNOWN DEPTH IN THE CENTENNIAL WASH...THE BULLARD WASH AND
  OTHER OTHER SMALLER WASHES THAT FLOW INTO THESE DRAINAGES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD
WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS AND DRIVING ON ROADWAYS PRONE TO
FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF EAST-CENTRAL ARIZONA AND SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA...
  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN EAST-CENTRAL ARIZONA...SOUTHERN
  GILA COUNTY/TONTO NATIONAL FOREST FOOTHILLS. IN SOUTH-CENTRAL
  ARIZONA...GREATER PHOENIX AREA AND NORTHWEST MARICOPA COUNTY.

* FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN IN AND AROUND LOWER DESERT
  COMMUNITIES ACROSS NORTHERN MARICOPA COUNTY...TO UPWARDS OF 3.0
  INCHES OF RAIN IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN AND MOUNTAINS NORTH AND EAST
  OF PHOENIX...INCLUDING CAVE CREEK...NEW RIVER...SEVEN SPRINGS AND
  SUNFLOWER. HEAVY AMOUNTS OF RAIN ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO FALL OVER
  FOUR PEAKS AND THE SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS.

* THE RAINFALL AND RUNOFF WILL LEAD TO HEIGHTENED FLOWS OF UNKNOWN
  DEPTH IN NEW RIVER...SKUNK CREEK AND DEADMANS WASH NEAR ANTHEM...BUT
  ALSO CAVE CREEK AND CAMP CREEK...SYCAMORE CREEK NEAR
  SUNFLOWER...AND TONTO AND PINAL CREEK THAT FLOW INTO THE TONTO
  BASIN NEAR ROOSEVELT LAKE. MANY OTHER NORMALLY DRY WASHES IN THE
  WATCH AREA WILL QUICKLY FILL WITH RUNOFF AND MAY INUNDATE LOW WATER
  AND UNBRIDGED ROAD CROSSINGS.
