The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Small creeks and streams draining from the Alaska Range between
  Tanacross and Dot Lake...

* Until 1030 AM AKDT Sunday

* At 545 PM AKDT, a trained weather spotter reported over 2.5 inches
  of rain had fallen in the past 24 hours causing small creeks and
  streams draining from the Alaska Range to go overbank.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas buy may cause some
  ponding of water on the Alaska Highway between Tanacross and Dot
  Lake.

* Residents living along streams and creeks in the area should take
  precautions to protect property.
