...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 AM CST FRIDAY FOR
SOUTHWESTERN STEPHENSON COUNTY...

At 440 AM CST, flooding continued along Yellow Creek due to water
backing up from the flooded Pecatonica River. This flooding is
expected to persist and possibly worsen this morning as water rises
along Pecatonica River.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... Freeport,
Pearl City, Bolton and Stephenson  County Fairgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
