A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH WILL REMAIN OVER THE SOUTHERN FORECAST AREA
(FA) THIS EVENING ALONG WITH AN APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL TROUGH.
SURFACE AND TRANSPORT WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN GENERALLY LIGHT
IN THE SHORT TERM AND MIXING HEIGHTS WILL BE SLOWER THAN USUAL TO
DROP WITH HOT TEMPS AND INSTABILITY ALONG WITH THE UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE THAT WILL SUPPORT A BACK DOOR COLD FRONT APPROACHING THE
REGION TONIGHT...SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY LAST INTO THE EVENING
LONGER THAN USUAL. THE BACK DOOR FRONT WILL MOVE SW THROUGH THE FA
