FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
225 AM EDT SUN MAR 29 2015

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP COOL AND DRY
CANADIAN AIR ACROSS THE AREA AGAIN TODAY. THE MAIN ISSUE TODAY
WILL BE THE VERY LOW AFTERNOON RH VALUES...WITH READINGS FALLING
INTO THE UPPER TEENS. WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT AND VARIABLE
DURING THE DAY. TRANSPORT WINDS WILL BE MOSTLY FROM THE SOUTHWEST
THIS AFTERNOON AND LESS THAN 10 MPH. FOG IS NOT EXPECTED THIS
MORNING DUE TO THE DRY AIR MASS.

RH VALUES WILL IMPROVE ON MONDAY AS MOISTURE RETURNS ON THE BACK
OF EXITING SURFACE RIDGE AND AHEAD OF APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THIS
FRONT WILL RAPIDLY MOVE THROUGH THE CWA DURING THE DAY ON MONDAY.
THIS WILL CAUSE AN INCREASE IN WIND SPEEDS THROUGH THE DAY...WITH
VALUES OF 10 TO 15 MPH AND GUSTS OF UP TO 20 MPH.
