Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
240 PM EDT Sat Oct 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...Sunday, high pressure at both the surface and aloft
continues, preventing precipitation. Expect light east surface
winds around 5 mph and SE transport winds around 10 mph. This
onshore flow will work to increase moisture over the Southeast.
Minimum RH values will be around 50 percent on Sunday.

Increasing moisture and an approaching surface front will make
widespread showers and thunderstorms likely Monday. Transport
winds increase to around 20 mph out of the south by the afternoon.

Areas of low clouds and patchy fog expected Sunday morning.
