.DISCUSSION...



Surface high pressure will build into the District this afternoon
through Thursday, bringing clearing skies but cold temperatures.

A gusty westerly wind between 25 and 35 mph is expected across
mainly the Central and Western parts of the state late tonight
and Thursday.

Temperatures will moderate to near normal Friday, then climb
to about 10 degrees above normal over the upcoming weekend with
mainly dry weather continuing.
