FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
338 PM CDT MON SEP 26 2016

.DISCUSSION...

THERE WILL BE AN ELEVATED WILDFIRE CONCERN TUESDAY AFTERNOON OVER ALL
BUT THE FAR SOUTHWESTERN SECTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA. THIS WILL BE DUE
TO VERY DRY CONDITIONS AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES MIXING OUT INTO
THE 3O TO 35 PERCENT RANGE. HOWEVER...LIGHT WINDS AND RELATIVELY
GREEN NATIVE GRASSES WILL PRECLUDE A FURTHER DETERIORATION OF
CONDITIONS.

THE REST OF THE FORECAST SHOULD SEE LOW WILDFIRE CONCERNS DESPITE DRY
CONDITIONS AS HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL INCREASE WHILE WINDS REMAIN LIGHT.
