FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
700 AM EDT SAT JUL 4 2015

.DISCUSSION...A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL SINK SOUTH INTO
KENTUCKY TODAY AS IT WEAKENS AND STALLS. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL STILL BE A POSSIBILITY...BUT DRIER AIR
ALOFT MOVING INTO THE REGION SHOULD KEEP THE COVERAGE MORE
LIMITED THAN IN RECENT DAYS. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING
NORTHEAST TOWARD THE AREA WILL BRING A HIGH PROBABILITY OF
RAIN TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE TENNESSEE AND
VIRGINIA BORDERS.
