FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
614 AM EDT TUE SEP 1 2015

...WARM AND HUMID THIS WEEK WITH ONLY SMALL CHANCES OF RAIN...

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING ABOVE NORMAL TEMPEATURES
THROUGH THE WEEK. THOUGH CONDITIONS WILL BE HUMID...ONLY SMALL
CHANCES OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED. THE BEST CHANCES OF RAIN WILL BE
THIS AFTERNOON OVER NORTH CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN AND WEDNESDAY
AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT OVER SOUTH CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN CLOSE TO
THE WISCONSIN BORDER. OVERALL...WINDS WILL BE LIGHT LESS THAN 15 MPH
THROUGH THE WEEK BUT GUSTS TO 20 MPH ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE EAST HALF
TODAY. A COLD FRONT PUSHING OVER THE REGION THIS WEEKEND WILL BRING
A MUCH BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY INTO LABOR
DAY. THE COOL DOWN FOR NEXT WEEK MAY NOT BE AS SIGNIFICANT AS IT
LOOKED LIKE THE LAST COUPLE DAYS. STAY TUNED.
