FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
455 AM CDT SUN JUL 27 2014

.DISCUSSION...
BREEZY AND HOT CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES OUR
WAY. LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL BE ON THE INCREASE SO MIN RH VALUES
ARE NOT EXPECTED TO DIP TOO LOW. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND TSTMS IS
IN THE FCST...MAINLY FOR THE CONVECTION POTENTIAL LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND INTO THIS EVENING. A FEW STORMS COULD REACH SEVERE
LEVELS WITH DAMAGING WINDS BEING POSSIBLE.

AFTER THE FRONT MOVES THROUGH...COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL THEN
PERSIST FROM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. THEN...THE UPPER TROUGHING
PATTERN OVER THE EASTERN U.S. WILL MORPH INTO A PATTERN WHEREBY A CLOSED
UPPER LOW WILL SETTLE SOUTHWARD TOWARD TN. FOR THAT REASON...RAINFALL
CHANCES WILL RETURN BY NEXT WEEKEND.
