Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
516 AM CDT Wed Sep 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Upper ridging will remain just to our west through Thursday. The
northerly wind aloft might promote just enough instability to
produce a tstm or two, otw it will be primarily dry. The
aforementioned ridge axis will shift north through the extended
period with the potential for easterly waves to effect our area.
However, hurricane Maria will prevent much in the way of moisture
from moving our way. Thus, expect warm and dry conditions but sfc
humidity levels will be on the elevated side for mid to late
September.
