Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
926 PM MDT Sat Jul 22 2017

.Discussion...

The monsoon plume gets shunted southward for Sunday which should
limit most thunderstorm activity to the mountain areas during the
afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be below normal for
Sunday.

Monsoon moisture will gradually push back northward into the region
through next week with a gradual uptick in thunderstorm
chances...with Wednesday through Friday looking like the wettest
period.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will rise into the fair to good
category for most of the district on Sunday. Exceptions will be
over the mountains where thunderstorms develop and drive dispersions
down into the poor category. Improved dispersions can be expected
for Monday, particularly over the plains.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
